This tight urban infill in trendy Pontcanna has sold out prior 6 months to completion.  CWA designed a mix of flats and 3, 4 and 5-bed townhouses on this gritty and awkward site. 

Careful management of local expectations of public opinion in this very “nimby” area resulted in local opinion being very positive prior to application because of workshops and public exhibitions. 

The houses and buildings nod to the site’s light industrial Victorian past.  Laundry Quarter has recently been awarded ‘Residential Development of the Year’ for the Wales property Awards 2023.
