Chorley Petrol Filling Station and Kiosk

On behalf of Mumbles Group CWA designed and delivered a shell-build convenience store and petrol filling station for Co-op. 

A simple box with a mono-pitched roof hidden behind a parapet wall. The box is simply clad in composite timber and render and the store entrance, which is conveniently positioned on the corner, making it visually prominent from the main road, is clad in red brick to match the local vernacular of Chorley.

Although it replaced an existing PFS and kiosk, this site was challenging in respect of fitting in the new petrol infrastructure, as additional pumps were provided and extra parking spaces were needed.  However, CWA were able to rise to the challenge and the result is a successful and popular PFS and convenience store with a strong visual presence.
